There’s just something splendid about seaside living. This town is full of friendly faces, fresh air, and fun activities. Duxbury Beach Park is one of the most gorgeous beaches in the area, and we’re proud that it’s also incredibly accessible so everyone can enjoy it. After your fun in the sun, grab a bite to eat at Blakeman’s right on the beach. North Hill Marsh Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the area’s favorite spots to enjoy nature and do some birdwatching. The sanctuary sits on over 1,000 acres and has several miles of trails for hiking. When the weather isn’t agreeable for outdoor activities, check out the Art Complex Museum. The museum is home to several thousand pieces of work from American and Asian artists, as well as a large collection of Shaker furniture and crafts.

I have the Vertiglide blinds on 3 of my sliders and I just had Steve measure another one for my 4th slider in my house. I am replacing the pull down style that didn’t really work out. The Vertiglide is so clean and modern looking. When it is closed, it insulates the windows and when it is open you don’t even notice they are there. Steve is a great guy to work with. I highly recommend the Vertiglide and this company.
I highly recommend Blinds and Designs. I’ve used them several times for both Roman shades and plantation shutters... every window in my house now has a window treatment from Blinds and Designs. I couldn’t be happier with the finished products. Steve is fantastic... he’s professional and friendly. I really appreciated his willingness to sit and help me look through the hundreds of fabric samples to find the perfect fabric to complement each room.
The very best. Could not be more pleased both with the quality and price. They are also perfectionists. They didn’t like the look of one blind’s installation and said they’d be back with a new order to replace it. Back within a week and no charge. You really can’t go wrong with these guys. Honest and personable.
We've had experience with 3 blinds providers in the southcoast area, and Stephen Murphy's Blinds & Designs is the best. The shops are useful to see products and a full range of colors, and the staff is helpful. More important, Stephen shows up when he says he will, prepared. He's extremely knowledgeable about options, offers his opinions, then executes as agreed. In addition, he was able to troubleshoot and resolve an issue another provider left me hanging with. Straightforward, professional. And he and his people are a pleasure to deal with.
