The Process...
The custom window covering program is designed to allow builders to offer window coverings as an added level of service for their home buyers. The blinds are typically installed prior to the closing so the home owner will have blinds installed before moving into their new home. The process is simple, and designed to be as efficient as possible. Here is an overview of a typical blind program order:
- The home buyer selects the window coverings that they desire by room and window location.
- The design consultant or builder agent processes the request and files it with the home owner documents.
- The builder issues a purchase order for us to complete the project with the specified products.
- We receive the order and have a certified, insured field technician measure the windows in the home once the final trim has been installed.
- The order is verified, processed, and manufacturing begins.
- The builder in charge of the home is contacted to schedule the installation, and a certified, insured blind technician installs the window coverings as ordered.
